About the role
As Programme Administrator for Defenders’ Days your main responsibility will be to assist with planning and implementing Defenders’ Days together with the project team. You will also provide administrative assistance in organising trainings and workshops under Defenders’ Days umbrella.
As Programme Administrator you report to the Security and Innovation Department Director, and work in close collaboration with the Project Manager for Defenders’ Days.
Your key activities will be to:
- Provide general administrative support to Defenders’ Days component and especially in event planning
- Provide logistic support when implementing Defenders’ Days
- Build and maintain a good relationship with our partners
- Under the conference period work closely with partners and act on day-to-day requests
- Be together with the project group in contact with vendors and travel agent when the conference takes place
- Other relevant tasks within the Security and Innovation Department

To follow instructions and adhere to the organisation's procedures and policies comes natural to you as well as monitoring your own performance against deadlines.

This position requires very good verbal and written communication skills in English and Swedish, meaning that you can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes as well as produce clear, well-structured and detailed text.

To be suitable for this role you have:
- 1 - 3 years of relevant professional work experience with administration
- Experience from working in an international organisation
- Experience from implementing events and high-profile conferences
- Great skills in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, PPT, Word)
Additional language skills, such as Russian or Spanish, is highly preferable.
About the employment
This is a full-time temporary employment between November 2021 and June 2022, or according to agreement.
